Hmm just wondering if that was the prototype photo for the Venom before the final wing configuration was set ? as there are no markings on the aircraft it fits the roll out stage of development, the vampire had a span of 30 foot where as the Venom was 41 foot.

Interesting, I have a PSS Vampire in the works. If I could get the low down on this it would an interesting variation. There were 250 Vampires built in France as the Sud-Est SE-535 Mistral, so it could have been them having a play around with a recon version.

If I was to model 1 of them I'd probably do the Venom over the Vampire anyway as you already have standard the extra wing area , I'd also increase the vertical fins by 10% just to give a little more directional stability. Small tail area's were evident on all De Havilland designs .
