Question
Dazzler or t-34

Wich one is better? Dazzler or The world models t-34? I like the Dazzler's feel, and super good control, but I like the t-34's speed, and scale look. The Dazzler is about $50-$70 cheaper than the t-34. Wich one???

On the Dazzler, If you decide to get it, go ahead and build the tail feathers as solid pieces, not sticks like the plans call for. You'll just have to put in nose weight if you don't. Also be careful as to which pushrods that you use, it makes a funny loop when only one side of the elevator moves. Very fun plane..

Nice Dazzler, Gastro! Can you hover an ARF Dazzler with just an O.S .46 FX engine?

You should be able to. Especially with an OS .46 FX , put a 12.25X3.75 prop on it and it wil hover. :-) I like the backward landings that can be accomplished in very strong winds..

So far i've only hovered ageinst the wind in a superstar 40.... But I realy like the dazzler, it looks like a realy nice little plane. A few of people at my club fly them, and I've tryed one (only for about 2-3 minutes, but it was cool), but the things I see it do are realy cool! It looks so versatile and fast, and 3D, and fun, and I realy want to have one!!!!!!

You could get by witha cheaper model by about $15 or so, the Uproar is about the same as the dazzler except it doesn't have the turtle deck.

Not a 90 dagree hover, just into the wind. .46 FX O.S. Yes, that thaught did cross my mind! but someone told my that I realy shouldent cos' the plane is built to specifications and if you would change somthing with it the forces on the part would be bla, bla, bla.... Maybe I will, we'll see! If not retract, than a tail-dragger!

Taildragger is easy to do on those. You have to get the alluminum landing gear piece. Then glue plywood on the bottom/inside of the fuse and use blind nuts to hold the LG on. Line the front of the landing gear up with the leading edge of the wing. Put on a tail wheel and let 'er rip.

on what? The trainer? Um I'm currently working on a mod for the GP F-15 that I put a .61 on instead of the .46, boy thast has been a real pain in the neck. If you aren't inot building, I wouldn't attempt it. build a couple of kits before you start modifing existing designs. ya know?

hehe I wouldn't do that , you don't need it, you'd be way nose heavy which is going to happen already, I don't htink it would be very fun at all, I'd be more worried.
