Stupid....

This is absurd...I've got other things I have to work on...I don't have hours to spend adding ounces to the prop trying to get it balanced....

Regarding failing servos especially the elevator...I just went back and rebound/completely reset my DX7 for my Yak.

Is it possible that people are adjusting the travel prior to hitting the reversing switch for a particular surface? Here are the settings I had to program for travel adjust to get the correct throws (I kept them toward the lower end of the tolerances stated in manual)...

Ailerons------------Rudder--------------Elevator
----Left: 124%--------Left: 124%-------- Up: 116%
----Right: 90%--------Right: 130%-------Down: 140%

These travel adjust settings achieved the correct throws measured with calipers. So if you were using a DX7 and AR7000 (like myself) and you set the travel adjust and THEN reversed the elevator servo it would try and make the up elevator travel 24% more then recommended. The elevator also has the lowest range 48mm-50mm. 2mm tolerance when the other surfaces are 5 & 10mm.

Just wondering? Want to help keep myself or anyone else from loosing a plane due to servo failure if it can be helped.

I have a Torque 2818T/900 motor and I am wondering if it would work with this kit. Any one have any idea.

Have you checked you motor mount for signs of cracking? A cracked motor mount can cause similar problems that you described.

I would run the cnc and use the stocker as a backup. My guess is if you bend the cnc bracket you will need more than a new mount to fix the plane. Lol

The stock props are very hit and miss and they are likely what's causing the excessive vibration. Out of 5, I have one that is sort of kind of ok.

From the flightline today

The APC 12x6 prop rocks. You will need a washer to make up the space on the prop nut. Runs smooth and NO NOISE......
