What do you guys think the best all around flying jet for a small park size field is? My field is about 100x100 yards or so. Maybe a hair bigger. Do any of the jets on the market work in that tight a space? I can't fly some 130mph rocket in that tight a space...

Currently I fly an F-18 mid mount pusher with an 8043 prop cut to 7" on a Suppomodel B2208 17 1100kv motor on 3 cells. Its fairly slow for a jet... I wouldn't mind it being faster, but it can't be a real rocket.

Also, I prefer a belly flopper since its a grass field.

Phase 3 F-16. Freewing (HL) F-86 and/or MiG-15. Any of the JPower 50mm jets.

i too was going to say either the jpower 50mm or venom 50mm (are these the same jets?) jets.
a stock phase 3 f16 would work ok for that space, but anything faster then stock would be too much i think.

You guys beat me to it...the 50mm J-Powers. Great for flying in a small park (if your thumbs are up to it).

Aren't those 50mm jets SUPER fast? They look like they have next to no wing area, and having such a small fan, they are all pitch speed with no torque. So dont they need to fly like a bandit to stay in the air?

Are the J Power planes the same as these bananahobby ones? How are the electronics? Are they throw away parts? Or will they actually work?

I think Don can also supply a sissy combo that will equal the stock stuff yet outlive the airframe which I doubt the stock stuff will do

The stock stuff works ok if you balance the fan and don't run it on 4s. Otherwise, they're pretty quick stock...surprisingly so
