hey guys, quick question. I had a not to great landing with my jet, and from now on, every time i land, the wheels get flipped up, its kind of hard to explain, but there is a screw on the retracts you tighten down to keep them held into place, but thats screw isn't holding it, any suggestions?

Believe your talking bout the axle... Correct? If so, I had that problem, but it was only on a hard landing. The only thing I can suggest is to turn the bent part of the axle to 12 o'clk. By looking @ mine it is @ about 4 or 5 o'clk. This should stop the axle from rotating. Make sure the wheels can still retract n the retracts don't bind, if all is good take it for a taxi n then a flight/landing. If that doesn't work chill on your landings. lol!

Yeah, turn it so its always up and put bigger wheels on it if the nose up look bothers you, it needs bigger wheels anyway so it looks more scale.

I had a problem with the axles holding and it affects the wheel alignment. If the axles rotate, the wheels no longer track straight. What worked for me was to remove the axle and set screw that holds it, apply locite to them and re assemble everything making sure the axle is rotated so the wheel is aligned with the fuse centerline. Mine have never moved since.

Oops! Forgot to mention that. Mine also didn't track straight n almost led to a few head ons with a tree. Thats how i figuered out the axles had rotated on me. I kept adjusting the nose wheel n it seemed take offs were a horror. Finally figured it out. So u wanna make sure those rear wheels have the same alignment. Once I retightened they haven't moved since, hope u have luck.

Not that I'm aware of... Hobby Lobby shows October as the next "expected in stock" date and doesn't mention anything about a V2 version. I seem to remember that the Eurofighter was out for quite some time before a V2 was released. Unless the F/A-18E was a hot seller, I doubt V2 version will be developed and/or released. The wait for October is probably just another production run, and unless they fly off the shelves, look for this run to be the last. That's just my opinion of course.

Boy I hope not...I sure do like this bird. I was hoping for another color scheme or 2. If you are right, I will need to find a couple current scheme spares for the hangar.

I hope not as well, but unless demand is high they won't do anther run and/or another version. It's the same for me... if they ever get the airframe-only in stock, I'll certainly pick one up as I sure love mine.

Freewing won't be producing another Version 2 of the F-18 Super Hornet.

Freewing as of now stopped production on future new Jet releases as of such, they are focusing now mostly on propeller driven planes, but we may get a surprise.

My V.2 Reloaded F-18 is getting ready for build very soon.

All it is, is a airframe only kit with a powerful 8S Power Fan with a 5000 or 5400mah hyperion 35c battery pack.

I realized that due to my high power setup..the wings are starting to crack quite a bit when moving them, there is a lot more wing movement over time and due to the sun you can see that the epoxy turned kinda yellowish color.

I was absent for a good 3 months now..3 months without flying..but my new F-18 airframe still sitting in the box for now 2 months is getting ready for take-off..

I will glue the elevator onto the fuselage because I don't think it may handle 4.7 kg worth of thrust.

NS.
