Seriously? Like what don't they like? Easily the best EDF I've ever owned top to bottom.

Some people's kids.

No expo or d/r? You must have a really good/senstive thumb, your a great pilot so understandable.
Thank you

since the F18 is out of stock i have a new A10, P51 red tails and a su34 on the way. Hopefully soon they get em back in stock. When it does i may get two. Keep one in the box just in case

in another thread, A person was asking which edf to get next. I posted this edf and he went on about nitro's exceed f18.. IMHO the exceed is light years behind freewing with this model.

I've had the Exceed F18. It can't hold a candle to the Freewing. Not even a fair fight.

I've seen some criticism of how "fat" the plane is. That may be true. I prefer to think of it as Rubensesque. A lot to fall in love with.

The only EDF I've had that is as easy to land as the Freewing F/A18 is the Freewing 70mm F16. Both planes fly great too, although the 18 has a better thrust to weight ratio and a more scale like wing loading which, IMO, makes it handle more like the full sized plane.

Man, its hard to keep money in your pocket. I want a spare airframe of this jet so bad. I'll probably kick myself for not jumping on this now.

Decisions, decisions...

I did that last time and it sat in the closet for about 6mo., but finally had to use it when my 1st one finally bit the bullet. I'm contemplating this airframe again for that very reason. Awesome price right now.

not worth it imo, for $90 more i get it ready to go. i'll find out when BH will get it in stock then buy two of them. Besides i got 3 new planes inc, and 5 still in the box up in the rafters. I can be patient and get it when it gets back in stock

I have a flyfly F22 sitting on my spare bench. My RCL 90mm is too big for it so im going to stick the esc and motor from the F18 into it. At least now i do not need to buy a spare set of retracts for it when i get the new one

to give you an idea:

I have plenty to fly till it's in stock. the pics below are old i dont have the A10 or SU47 anymore, 1 SU35 takes the place of the su47 and the P51 red tails is where the A10 hangs now.

A bird in the hand is worth 2 on BH's out of stock list, IMO. Glad I bought the BH ARF when it was in stock and worth it to have the HLI airframe as a back up in case the ARF doesn't show up at BH like this one that has been out of stock for 18 mo.s or so: http://www.bananahobby.com/mini-su-3...5449-prd1.html

Ya I hear ya war, but I use all my own electronics when I build my planes. So all those servos, esc, & fan would be just be sitting in the closet. Especially that the CS12 is out I can't use any other 90mm fan. So id be wasting my cash on those electronics by buying a ARF. I love kits.

1900,

Agree, no telling when BH will get stock I've been waiting for spare parts for a few planes for awhile and date keeps moving back.

How did you like that A-10? Assume that's the BH scale version? I've had my eye on that for a long time.

Seeing you're more than likely not going to use the stock parts that makes a lot of sense.

In my situation: Barring any unforeseen disasters with the ARF, making the kit a parts bin, or an outright replacement; I might just mod up the kit. I like the way the stock one flies, but wouldn't mind a more refined version... In any event; I'm just hedging my bets.

If you're talking about the 1500mm version, I just bought one from Toysonics. They have it on for 10 bucks less than BH and currently, they have a 10% off on it as well.
I loved my F-18 with the OZ airforce scheme, but it's just too expensive to get another one.
