I looked at your website and can not find any listings or prices. I don't understand why this video was produced if you don't have anything for sale. Of course we all know these ships models exist already.
best wishes,
jeff

We have a couple of new members that have RTR, now they are looking into adding functions and building thier own.

Talk about fast! I see Mike is already selling the VIPO DECK RTR models that appeared on the Arkmodel Shanghai Expo thread the week before last. Are these to be carried in-stock or pre-paid & shipped to order?

Just saw the prices!!

A deposit secures it, and shipped to order - approx 4 weeks delivery.

Prices! Now you appreciate the work that goes into one of these models - even at Chinese labor rates. It includes the air freight and these are light but large packages and get a 'dimensional surcharge'.

These are for high rollers who have no intention of spending half their live in a basement with glue and paint.

Out here in California I really MISS my basement. Most everything is on a slab and the basement workshop is just a memory. If I could just stop working to afford the time, I could at least spend time in the garage "with glue and paint."

Nonetheless, even though I can't be a "high roller," I do have a few RTD (ready to display) diecast cars, and I am well aware of the precision and detail available from the better manufacturers which I could probably never match -- at least not on the NASCAR paint jobs.

I enjoy seeing the level of craftsmanship in these models, which is something to aspire to.

These RTR models are well packed, but will sustain damages during airfreight, which was the case when I received the first USS Black. This destroyer was destroyed indeed and it took me many hours and spare parts to make her look presentable again.

I had my second shipment by oceanfreight from Shenzen to R'dam. I collected the packages personally in port to avoid rough handling by other parties.

I'm dare not to offer these very delicate ship models to customers unless I'm certain that he receives what was paid for.

We here in the Netherlands call it a niche market as only few persons can afford the purchase without running into serious trouble with their wives.
Provided you can find more interested customers, then the oceanfreight will pay off.
