We are not going to attend BITW. I am too busy with FCC testing right now to get away for the weekend.

Good to hear Jim!

I agree, these new packs are sort of like 'rubber bands'.
You gotta stretch'em out nice and easy first, and you'll be rewarded with killer power and excellent cycle life.

When you guys get a chance, can you post the info.(amps/watts) compared to your previous set ups. I want to see how much of an increase you guys are getting over the previous packs. I want to order a set but not sure if I should drop a cell or not!

Yeah, what about this break in thing... Now that i have a few new packs i want to be careful. Should this really be done on the bench since at the field you'll be using full power on takeoff and climb out? They talk about a very low discharge rate for first couple flights.
We should probably start a new thread about this. D

i'm curious about this break in too.
my charger will only discharge @ 1a. about the only way i can see to do this (w/o buying an expensive discharger) is either install the lipo in an edf jet and run it in on the table, or build something with auto light bulbs.
