Laine,

Word around here at MCAS Miramar is that the two "Tahoe Dippers" were trying to take photos of each other with the "Majestic" mountain views in the background of their helis. Apparently, they weren't paying attention to their altitude and hovered themselves into the lake.

yeah they probably both should be taken out for a complete teardown and rebuild. jet engines dont like sucking in water. not to mention the one heli was almost lost. and keep in mind that this is a huge tourist area. they should probably be court martialed.

Yeah, typically salt water is the only MAJOR concern when it comes to water and helicopters. But, the one that took a dip... yeah, they are lucky they walked away, let alone flew the helicopter home!

Yeah, I missed him. Oh darn. But, my "Eagle Buddy" Henry Bayer flew him all over the place. He posted some pictures and recieved some ridicule about it too.
