Do you throw right handed? If so the tendancy is to flick your wrist to the left at the very end of an arm extension. I see it all the time at our flying fields. I also spool up to WOT then launch ahead firmly.

Thanks for the reply Don, yes that could be . This is my 1st 50mm jet, I need to learn how to throw these little buggers. I throw 64 and 70 mm all day without mishap. Maybe underhand may be better on these?

I throw overhand like in my videos but I also flew lots of free flight gliders as a kid so kind of learned not to flick my wrist because my glider would flip over and break! But underhand does keep you from flicking the wrist, you can overhand if you just remember to keep the thumb from dropping down.
