Can I turn my Navigation lights on and off with my DX6i and gear channel on RX

Can I turn my Navigation lights on and off with my DX6i and gear channel on RX?

I tried to set up as a mix with -125% and +125% but didn't work.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Yes but you need a RX switch. I do the exact same thing on one of my trainers for Nav lights. I got a switch from Hobbyking for less than $10.00 and run 6 12V led's off of it.

Or you can do that with a curtek lighting module.
That's how mine is set up.
Any rc switch plugged into the gear channel will do that for you.
Dimension offers some cool switching stuff.
Even a brushed esc will work fine plus offer dimming for the lights as well.

I use an E-Flite controller from the local hobby shop to activate my nose gear landing light only when the gear is out on my modified Trojan. The controller is Y'd off of the gear port on my AR6200 receiver and the controller provides the 5.5V signal the LEDs want. The navigation and anti-collision lights are on a separate E-Flite controller Y'd off of the battery port on the AR6200 and are on anytime there is battery connected unless I pull the controller off the Y.
