Help!
HK-3026-1600 and Phoenix ICE 50

Will this motor and ESC combination work with my Trex 500 for FFF but no hard 3d. I have these laying aournd and hoping I don't have to buy another ESC. I'll be running Turnigy 6s 3000mah 30c. If it will work please suggest what pinion gear size please.

I used a 14 tooth pinion on an Ice 75. It had decent 3D power. You would be over the 50 amps on a 14 tooth. I usually peaked around 56 amps, doing basic 3D. I think the 50 might take it ok.
A 13 tooth would probably be a better option on the 50 amp. I never ran the 13 tooth so can't tell you how many amps it would draw.
The motor shaft is longer than the stock motor. So you have to cut the shaft down, or drill out the step in the pinion. You can also buy pinions without the step.
