A new years present.

Yep, the mailman hauled a big box to my door today. A brand new Windrider B 737 Dream jet.
In Japan, we give Otoshidama, a cash allowance to kids during the New Year. I guess the big boy of the house was good after all.
Once again, Ming and his crew at Windrider has done it again. Its awsome. Packaging was super, as is usual with Windrider. This time, they are shipping this kit in a custom made foam box. Not a single ding on the parts. Am wondering if I can somehow make the fuse breakable for transportation and storage. This is one big and glamarous bird.
Elecric retracts were included. Hmmm, Make her aerotow able?? Sounds like a good, unique and ridiculous idea to me. Will cerrtainly give it a try.
Will start a build thread when I get started. But have to finish couple other projicts first.

What airline will you build?
I am so happy to see the 737 delivered in good shape.

Havent decided on the color scheme yet. Something not too elaborate, but simple. Another fun thing to conteplate.

I was just planning to build my own B737, and then somebody showed me this thing. I ordered one. I was planning on making my own design towable, I will have to see how easy it's going to be on this model. It would certainly be good, unique and ridiculous (so it sounds like a verrrrrry good idea!).
I am planning to fly the 737 with engines, but we will probably lose our runway somewhere withing the next two years. After that I will probably transform the model to a glider, so a towhook would be nice. Let us know how you make your tow-hook.

I plan on adding a tow release and not a tow hook. I doubt the wing can withstand the stress of a Hi-start or a winch launch.

Tow is OK I think but I don't think the wings can handle the stress of Hi-start or winch. must be interesting to see tow 737.

I did mean a tow release for aerotow, not for a high-start.
Wouldn't it be nice to make a nicely overpowered EDF version and with that one tow a glider version .
