VENOM V18 PRO-BRUSHLESS ESC SYSTEM w/CARD

Has anyone used this and is it any good?

I have seen a good deal on one and I am after some feedback about it.

Cheers

yeah, thats the system we ran here in Sydney Aust. last year. slow enough for beginners but fast enought to get yourself into trouble if your too heavy with the throttle. wheelstands not a problem as long as you have grip.
The hobbywing system is the same just in blue instead of green.

Do you have any details of the hobbywing system ,ie motor kv ,motor size .
I have looked on evilbay & there are a few different systems listed ,but i dont know which ones will be best for the GPV-1.

Hey do you know if a new plug needs to be fitted to the hobby wing system or will it fit the GPV out of the box?

I believe the hobby wing will come with no plugs... or maybe a deans plug...

but if you're goin brushless, then you might want to think about also up grading to lipo batteries aswell...

for a half decent charger that will do all kinds of different batteries including lipo's, you can pay anything from $50 upwards...

and the batteries are real cheap, and last forever... something like $10 a pack, and the run time you get is around 30-40 minutes...

and most of the batteries, and chargers also come with deans plugs fitted...

My 25A 7800KV hobbywing came with corally plugs from motor to esc and no plug for power.I have just switched to corally plugs from deans on the battery - deans takes up a bit more space.
