I upgraded the ESC to 50 AMP with the 3S battery. I have since upgraded it to 4S and have gone with an 80 amp ESC.

doesn't sound as nice as disho one tho

Maidened mine yesterday. It was a calm day, but there was sporadic wind gusts of like 5-10 mph. This thing can not handle wind for sure. It nearly stopped going towards the wind when a gust came, and nearly tip-stalled once (high in the air though), but when there's no wind it fly's great! Got it up and down in one piece. This is my first EDF, so i didn't trim it because i was shaking too much XD. But not a scratch, it went well

Also, this was a flight with the stock ESC. The only problem i had with the plane was that sometimes when i start up the motor, it makes a really weird grinding sound, like something is loose or like something is hitting the fan. To fix it i have to just put the throttle back down and back up again. I checked multiple times to see the cause, but couldn't figure it out. Nothing is hitting it and nothing is loose.

If you flew it with 3S, then I'm not surprised.

That grinding sound is probably the ESC mis-timing the winding in the motor, causing it to stutter.

The stock ESC is supposed to be a 30 amp. On a watt meter mine runs somewhere around 70 amps WOT.

I can install it without any problems the fan inside of the model? goes well without any problems? or changes must be made to the plane?

And grab that other 70mm T-45 instead at the same time too.

The 70mm fan does not fit?

It will fit with sanding out the fan area.
A Dremel drum sander.... or sand paper around a round rod/object.

If u haven't brought a fan you can buy the CNC 64 mm fan from HK that one will fit with minimal work
