Wow! This jet might just be my next purchase. Has anyone had any bad experiences with it? I plan to be straight-up stock.

hate2,
i'm using the stock e.s.c. from this model in a hk flyjet 64mm e.d.f. it performs fine.... it's just not big enough for the T-45's draggy airframe.IMHO, to really get the best of this jet it needs a 4 cell and a 60 amp e.s.c.

I can't find the item in HK, but you have another option for the undercarriage, you can use the stinger 64mm landing gear. You need work a little for adapt the nose gear, but,it's easy.

Bye and greetings from Patagonia.

The wheels are crap on the stock gear. Mine kept rolling off the hub on landing so I replaced them. I had to do quite a bit of re-inforcing of the front wheel servo mount as well due to my slopy landings.

Maybe a whole kit might be a cheap way to go for $30?

Wrong kit. That one's not the best.

This is the one you want and is the one discussed in this thread. $40 but much better.
