i cut the full length ailerons at the red/white paint edge, removed the single aileron servo and added twin flap servos to mine, and twin aileron servos. Still flies nice but is a few grams heavier, and has 3 position flaps! - i tried the flaps with just one servo, but couldn't get complimentary motion and travel distance, so i moved the setup to a mix on the TX.

Ailerons are Y split. (6 channel reciever)

Am now considering light weight but reliable e-tracts.

respect to the cockpit! .. you lost the entire set, or just the lexan?,here you have the answer!!!...i seem very heavy, but it is very detailed and nice!.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...5_Cockpit.html

But, i think it is big for the foam hk T-45!..It seem for the cmpro 90 mm t-45.

About the flaps...I have bad experience with flaps actuated by two servos, i had a gws a-4 and use that system, I had mistakenly servo asymmetry, and the plane Has Been Destroyed! ..(One servo lock in the landing position and...good...you know the results!).

Thanks! It does look a bit big and I do need the canopy as well. I guess if I can't find one in the next couple days I will order a T-45 parts plane. Right now the best deal with shipping is probably the ARF in the US warehouse.

Hello, good morning, for me!...The dinamic balanced cyclone edf was purchased in rc-castle, the shipping service is really good, in seven days the product was in my city!!!...Very fast for this bureaucratic country like Argentina.
You have two hobbyshops to buy it!...
Here the links:

http://edfhobbies.com/index.php?rout...product_id=163

http://rc-castle.com/shop/product_in...oducts_id=1737

Rc-Castle or edfhobbies...

Now..we have a terrible wind, dust and va ashes storm....since four days...impossible to fly!!..
Bye and have a nice day!!..

Nitrocharged, hi there!

How did you paint the explosive lines on the canopy? I have been wondering for quite a while.

I thought they were just arrows and lines telling the pilot which direction he was going - being a 'trainer' and all ;-)

LOL - he means the detonation cords built into the real canopies.

Mine are vinyl cut adhesive.

A long time ago a fellow rcg'er had me do the det-cord artwork and in kind he sent me a pile of det cord 'stickers'.

Ah, OK, so that's what they are. Those lines reminded me of the rear windshield antennas on some cars

My 2002 Honda Accord has no whip antenna, nor a patch antenna on the roof. Only thing left are the strips on the window! Assumed with a DC block the wires did double duty!
