Michael and Andreas, along with Andreas Herrig will be flying on the German team with Martin Herrig flying as returning World Champion. They will be the team with a big Target on their back for sure. Can you say all stars. These guys are also first class gentleman. They went way out of their way to show me a good time last summer in Kulmbach. I can't wait to see them in China.

I searched the tread and only came up with this set up. Is this about where everyone is starting?

Towhook 118.5 from nose cone. I use down elevator preset and my models
will glide and not stall in launch mode.

I don't like mine with 2mm thermal and 2.5mm snap flap. Very sensitive airfoil to camber changes.
Only have mine with 1mm thermal and 1.5snap-flap, always with some speed and wing fully ballasted (except in competition's duration task...). I love to thermal it this way

here is some answer Jiri sent to other pilot about Fosa set up. Let me know if this info is enought for you.

Fosa setup:

1. CG ...I fly 98mm
2. Tow hook .... 109mm from end of nose cone
3. Flaps, aileron and elevator in towing, do you use 2 setups? Tips to tow when no wind...I use 15mm for flaps together with ailerons and app. 1mm of elevator down
4. Flaps. aileron and elevator in level flight ... all zero
5. Flaps, aileron and elevator in lift ..... plus 1, plus 1, zero
6. Flaps, aileron and elevator in speed ...... 0 - minus 1, 0 - minus 1, zero
7. Ballast in speed. From how high launch full ballast should be used, when only half of it? .... minimum ballast in zero condition I use 2700g, maximal I used 3400g.
8. Ballast in distance. how much and when? ...I use app. 200g less in same weather condition as for speed
9. How do you find making speed turns, tighter than Ceres Lift, or rounder? ... is better make they rounder, but sometimes I´m too hot :-)

Is your thermal and snap flap settings at the wing root or the Aileron and Flap intersection?

Aileron/Flap intercection. At wing root it would be +0.2mm I think.

When Jiri sent to me those settings I didn't follow him with thermal ones and put 2mm to start. I noticed a big difference at slope when changing to thermal from distance at slope. Then, on flat land I simply didn't like it much.
Then changed to 1mm after a couple of flights, and that way it is today. It is possible that one can take better use of the plane with a bit more camber and correct tune but for me 1mm with 1.5mm snap flap is ok.
