Searching for old model plane nose art "Checkerboard Lady"
An OFB is getting back into the hobby after a decade away, and I'd like to find for him a decal or picture of the decal he used to have on his favorite old plane. Can you help me find this image? An hour of googling got nothing close.
This used to be part of a set, I want to say they used to be sold by Coverite of Black Baron, but that may be wrong. They were a set of modeler "nose art" type pieces. They are long out of production as far as I know. They were not actual historic nose art pieces, but some artist's impression of what one might be.
The specific image I am looking for is a bust shot of a big-haired blonde or redhead woman, wearing sunglass I think, I think I remember her facing from right to left, and there is a long sheet of checkerboard cloth material fluttering across her chest and body like a flag in a stiff propwash or wind. Nothing "adult" is shown in the decal, she's really quite tame. I think she used to be called "checkmate" or "Checkerboard Lady" or something like that.
She will have great sentimental value to my OFB if I can find a copy, or even just a jpeg.
