Yup. Saw those and that's great but I'm waiting on the small 3s 450 packs. I have to get a few bigger packs too but I have to wait for the plane to arrive so I know how big I can go before I order.

Thanks for sharing the data.

The superiority of the Gens Ace over the Blue Lipo is striking in your graphs. And yet the Blue Lipo is marketed as 30C whereas the Gens Ace is 25C.

Would be nice to see discharge comparisons at higher currents (40A is less than 20C for these packs).

The voltage drop should be pretty proportional to the current because the Internal resistance should be similar unless the temperature changes. I think that's where it comes into play. I know a pack may be labeled 30C but if you really pulled 66A, the pack would heat up really quick and the IR may change as well making things worse (or better, depending on the ambient temp and airflow). If you are pulling 66A from a 3S 2200, just look at how long it will last before it's depleted. 10C average current pull even at 100% depletion will last only 6 minutes (rough estimating here). 20C would last you 3minutes and so on.
40A for a 3S 2200 I think is a pretty good measuring point for a full throttle value.

Yesterday I received 6 Gens Ace packs: 3x 3s 1300 25C, 2x 3s 1550 25C, and 1x 3s 800 20C. The small pack came with a JST-type connector, and the others had the HXT 3.5mm protected bullets. Here are the stats for the as-received packs:

I got in box of batteries I recently purchased.
4 more 3S 25C 2200mAh
and 2 4S 3300mAh

After the first charge, the 4S 3300mAh packs are 2-3 milliohms per cell.
The 3S 2200mAh packs are 3-4milliohms per cell
I"ve also updated post #1

Incidently, I have about 50 cycles on one of my original 3S 2200mAh 25C packs and I"ve been abusing it for the last 15-20 Cell Internal resistance is now 4-5milliohms per cell. WAY better than how my Nanotech was doing and WAy better than my Blue Lipos do. I"ve been taking the Gens Ace way down to like 95% discharge training some people on my 450 Helicopter in a buddy box.

Both batteries came with the HXT 4mm Red Cased Bullet connectors installed.

Nice to see they have some good 4mm gold bullets installed, much better than the Deans if you as me.

When running constant current of 50 or 60 amps these are getting hotter than Dean's connectors if that means anything to you. I'm pretty comfortable lumping the 30 amp powerpoles, Dean's, these red bananas , Traxxas , and some others into a "50 amp" catagory.

I got in some 1300mAh 25C 3S packs for my smaller foamies. 2 and 6 milliohms per cell. That's not bad at all. I'll report after I have some more flights.
