Whats your favorite small Wing set up?

I have tons of lower KV motors for all my 3d models that use large props which I have been using on my home made wings and jets. I am limited to what jets I can build because I have to swing a large prop to compensate for the low KV.

I am going to be making a purchase from HobbyKing and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a motor. It will be used on home made EPP and Blucore jets and wings.

What are your favorite set ups for this kind of application.

I want speed and power!!! lol

Thanks in advance for the advice.

What size prop do you swing on that so I can pick some up as well.

Get a 5x4.3 prop with a 10amp SS esc. I would also get a 610mah 3 cell and something in the same capacity range 2 cell. I used that setup on a 24in wing and it went straight up on 3cell. Dont go WOT with the 3cell for to long cause the motor does heat up. Also on 2 cell the 5x4.3 prop does really well so you dont have to change props.

I also have the 3000KV motor but still prefer the 2300kv because the 3000KV requires a bigger battery and lots of amps. This means that the wingloading of my 24inch wing went so high that it was hard to control. Besides, the glide rate went down as well.

I went ahead and ordered that 3000 kv one to try out.I ordered the small 2300 kv turnigy motor as well just to mess with.

I will pair that Turnigy with the HK 10a esc and the Hextronic Motor with a 30a ESC.

I will be using either 800 mah 3s or 800 mah 2s with it so I picked up 5x4.3 props and 4x4 or something like that.

I have a couple of these. The 2100Kv will do 6x3 on 3s or 7x3.5 on 2s. Noisy, but tough.

Yeah I ordered that one, I like Turnigy to.

I have quite a few Turnigy motors and none of them give me any problems. I actually think my Axi 2212/26 equivalent is even better then my Axi 2212/26.
