I've not visited any hobby shops in Munich, but I buy a lot of my equipment from the electronic chain store 'Conrad'. Conrad has branched out over the last few years and their hobby department is as good as any regular hobby shop. I have been in the Munich Conrad and it is very good. The hobby department is excellent. Conrad is centrally located in the middle of the city : Conrad Tal 29, Nähe Isartor (means 'near the Isartor', which is a city gate) 80331 Munich Check out Conrad under www.conrad.de (look under 'Modellbau' to see what they have). Should be no major problem as they have a good program including brushless motors. You will find store details at the top of the page if you click on 'Filialen'. Enjoy your trip ! Chris P |

I checked the modelling press and the only event I can find taking place around this time and reasonably close to Munich is : 26th July Gästetag und Schaufliegen (Guest day and demonstration flights) at the HMF Rotta am Inn which is about 50 km south east of Munich. Contact Robert Sedlmeier by e-mail on Schreinerei.Sedlmeier@t-online.de for further details if you're interested. Cheers Chris P |
