747-400 build

My last 747 i crashed last year so i will build another, just bigger i will finish the body of the plane tonight and start with some electronics, this has been a four day build and it only take me about two weeks to make a plane, i do not have the motors but will buy every thing i need to get this thing in the air and fly properly, with out any of the last planes misshaps, so this will be my last and final 747-build for a while, but feel free to look, post, and ask any thing, and injoy my build

Impressive! What is the wing span? What are your plans for power?

Great detail. What techniques are you employing?

Hello friends and i have been thinking of what power fans i should use i think i might go with 90mm or 70mm edf and esc four of them and 3000 to 2500mah battery each for each edf fan, it will allso have working retracts and flaps lights and landing light and to my friend Rudi yes i used a paper model to build it so if any one would like the plans just typ in paper model plane on google and it will bring up all kinds of paper models. THANKS

Well lets see well if you look at the pic of the plane just that part alone is as high as i stand and im 5.11 so one wing will be about 8 or 7 feet so a wing span of maybe about 16 to 14 foot wing span and keep in mind this thing will have working flaps just like the real plane, i did the same thing with the smaller 747 i made last year but all that stuff was to much for the plane and it would not fly so that is why its so big and i did crash that other 747 plane, but the crash and flights of the other 747 gave me a good working bead of what i could do with this one.

Cool! i enjoyed your video on youtube. Great performance and very nice looking model! but your fans sounded pretty badly out of whack.

Move this to the scratch built section

You should consider the BP hobbies Sickle fans, would look and sound awesome. they have 70's and 90's http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=B1098409

those fans look pretty cool. should work out well for you.

if the scale was bigger, I was gonna suggest you build your own fans. kinda the same idea as Olle (Airbuzz) with his A380, but we're talking 180-190mm with those.

This is one thread that I think is definitely worth watching.

What material did you use for the fuse?

Where did you found the paper model with this colour scheme? Or have you done it on your own?
