No way to tell for sure till someone gets their hands on one and tries it, but with the specs being Sooo close, I would have to say it is very likely it can be done. Heck ScrtSqrl put almost every foam glider wing known to man on an Easy Star. So, I would think with minor modifications you maybe able to slap the new wings on the old fuse.

but then you will have a glider that won't perform like the Pro, the pro has a different Fuse that has been strengthened to handle the Ailerons and flaps, you will more than likely snap the fuse if you try to fly it like the "Real" Pro

some parts might fit like canopies, motor mounts etc but i can't see PZ making the wings an easy fit or why would anyone buy the new plane?

cheers chuck

from what i gather, both versions require a 5+ channel TX, but...

the BNF includes AR600 RX, 3S battery, and charger
while the PNP does not include these items.

meaning, if i get a sailplane specific radio, and the PNP kit, then i won't need deal with selling the RX on the classifieds. hooray!

you could always transfer to the pro airframe and call it done.

Clever marketing from Horizon Hobby . [just my .2 cents... I would imagine that there was a press embargo on data / images until Friday, Sept 23rd. HH sends images to AU distributor on Thursday 22nd (Fri 23rd for them) and AU distributor launches here on Thu. night]

I suspect that one mod current Radian owner's could do [with a battered, tattered old compressed fuselage beyond recognition and repair] might try to purchase the latest fuselage design. This would be a great way to incorporate the new wing securing method. Make similar fittings or adapt the original wings onto the new fuselage design and you get a AR600 6-channel receiver too boot.

Just found out about the Pro and so glad they re-did the radian. Its been very tempting to get orginal but I never did. But now that it has ailerons, I have to get it mainly so I can roll it whenever I feel like it.

Also I never heard of an AR600 rx?!?!?!

I just hope it comes out before "late november"
