yes i think the fact that i was getting really comfortable with her stock , this forces me to take it to another level of control and confidence. looking forward to getting alot more batteries in her to get the comfort level dialed. the wind has really been a pain. with less dihedral the sudden gust will get her to drop a wing much easier now. i glanced down the other day to look at my timer and when i looked up she was heading down! saved her and never did it again.

What transmitter are you using? I started with the RTF transmitter, but now use the dx6i.

Interesting that the price for the UM T28 is the same for BNF and RTF. (And the RTF comes with 8 AA batteries.)

Good question. Last time I looked at the RTF list, I'm sure it was there. Today I can't find it.

Franken-Wulf FW-190

Here's a Focke-Wulf FW-190 I made from the UM T-28.

Here's a link to the YouTube video.

I hope you like it!

Thanks. Yes, the canopy is just made from a clear sheet of acetate. It was cut flat, folded, and taped together at the A-pilars. I think you could probably use the canopy from a Guillow's FW-190, though.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. With my poor vision, I think the flying is more luck than skill. As they say, I'd rather be lucky than good.

I think my solopro motor might actually be slowing a bit. Still more oomph than stock, but with my weighty repairs performance is about stock.
