What did you do to/for your Heli today?

I got the gyro installed, servo horns 90, routed wires, installed tail servo and set it up....alas, no flight time today.

Ordered new pinions for even higher HS. Don't know if its a bad idea to move closer to 3250 rpm from 3050 while still being a relative noob, but my tail is annoying me and I'm curious how the motor will react to it.

Spent yesterday balancing the head assembly on my CP Pro. Worked on getting some spare blades balanced up for an "oops". Spooled it up and got it into a hover, and man was it smooooooth!

what I did

What I did was to install a Black King tail onto my blade 400. The Black King is an all metal, high end tail, slider, and grips package. Heli flys like a dream.

I tied my two helis to the metal table on my patio one at a time so I could check the blade tracking. The table has lots of holes in it to tie the string through. I tied to the heli frame and not just to the skids (don't trust those little skid mounting screws). Used a red dry erase marker on one blade. Sure worked nice. One heli was perfect and the other needed 1/2 turn on one link.

I use a marker to for blade tracking ! I just looked at mine today its blowing 35mph out and raining so no flying for me. I did put new Thunder Power blades on yesterday and flew them around a little (it was only blowing 20mph yesterday and I was doing that inbetween the rain storms) Today was just toooooo windy and gusty for me

I installed my castle-link quick connect and replaced the gears on one of my 65mg's.... Then I gave her a nice blast off with canned air and a rub down with a microfiber cloth. She's a good girl
