FWIW, Tams retracts are just the trunions and down on the mains and strut down on the nose gear. Still need the E Flight motor drive. The shock absorbers on his struts may help with keeping it all in one piece though.

Just spent a couple of days at Best In The West jet rally. It was pretty awesome but I wish I had a jet! (I have a Habu and an Electra) Anywhooo, one observation is that I must have seen 20 Habu's. They didn't fly much but it seems many "jet jockeys" have a Habu, just for fun.

Um.. yes.. that would be correct. I do have the TAM retracts. And Like Husafreak said, they are still eflite retracts once you get past the struts and back to the motor etc.
I just haven't found anywhere to get a replacement worm gear or a replacement bearing. Is the only solution to send it back to HorizonHobby? Quote:

Yes just send them to horizon. a spare set is a good idea.

A Tams front strut will help. It's easier on the retract because of the trailing link suspension. Tam got the springrate perfect and it really helps out on the landings. Installing one on mine was the best thing I did to my H32.
