I found this pic on another site. Not that great, but it does give some idea of the bottom color scheme.
Awesome looking plane. I'm really hoping grass fields won't be problem for this plane.

I hope this comes before x-mas..Would be a nice little xmas present for myself. For the price of a p-20 you can get a p-80se, IMO your just better off putting your money into a larger jet. I know people are doing it but a turbine into a 299.00 airframe just doesnt sit right with me. If your gonna spend money on a turbine, might as well go the rest of the way..just my 2 cents..

that is to be seen when the habu 32 comes out. there is some real expensive crud out there in the turbine model market, so an smaller less expensive model doesn't mean it won't make for a good turbine model. a turbine model you can stick in the trunk assembled and ready to fly is rather intriuguing. i'm thinking of giving it a go if the model proves air worthy for the application. to bad they want a small fortune for the p-20. if they dropped the price volume sales in the turbine market might just become a reality. though turbine mayhem could insue.

Hi,

I gotta wonder why someone would really want to put a turbine in this. What would the advantage be? 130 M.P.H. on the stock brushless system seems pretty decent. More speed, but at much higher cost and less duration. Is it really worth it?

Yeah I was wondering that myself. Other than the super cool whoosh. What would be gained?

how do you get less duration? depending on the size of the tank or tanks it should get the same as a battery if not more air time. speed wise thats yet to be seen. i couldn't see putting a turbine in a multiplex twister but it was done and flew well. the search for more power has people stuffing their models with all kinds of power systems, so why not turbine. the p-20 from jet cat along with a couple of other micro turbines are opening an whole new world of possiblities for powering smaller models. to each his own. i love my edf's but i lust after and adore my turbine, and thats the difference for me. my turbine hums in my chest and makes the sticks feel alive like no other model i've ever flown.

I have a brand new P-20SE ordered from Jetcat and I cant wait to put this engine in the new Habu.
Ofcourse its over the top and although I love my EDF planes nothing beats the sound and power of a real turbine and ofcourse the P-20SE is so cute.
I'm really convinced that it it will be lighter to.
Engine and accesoires including fuel for 6 minutes will be around 1 kilo.
The recommended 6S5000 lipo will be already 900 grams weight for the edf version.

True on all accounts, theres crud everywhere, the p-20 is a small fortune, and the habu32 is yet to bee seen!!!!!! Ill buy it and keep it edf..seems like a nice little jet to keep the thumbs lubed when you cant fly the turbines..Cant wait to see more on it

Why a P-20 in a Habu? For me, all the reasons I love my EDFs and more. More speed, power, and that cool sound.

As it stands, my name is on the list for one at Mac's. I'll fly it as an EDF for a while and see what happens.

The Habu32 has been very much "seen" . it flew constantly at E-Jets. Flat passes averaged 128 and we saw 162 out of a fairly big dive.

got a chance to handle it in the pits...it looks great, right down to the aluminum rimmed wheels which i was told would come with the kit.
