Hi,
I gotta wonder why someone would really want to put a turbine in this. What would the advantage be? 130 M.P.H. on the stock brushless system seems pretty decent. More speed, but at much higher cost and less duration. Is it really worth it? Mickydee |

Yeah I was wondering that myself. Other than the super cool whoosh. What would be gained?

how do you get less duration? depending on the size of the tank or tanks it should get the same as a battery if not more air time. speed wise thats yet to be seen. i couldn't see putting a turbine in a multiplex twister but it was done and flew well. the search for more power has people stuffing their models with all kinds of power systems, so why not turbine. the p-20 from jet cat along with a couple of other micro turbines are opening an whole new world of possiblities for powering smaller models. to each his own. i love my edf's but i lust after and adore my turbine, and thats the difference for me. my turbine hums in my chest and makes the sticks feel alive like no other model i've ever flown.

I have a brand new P-20SE ordered from Jetcat and I cant wait to put this engine in the new Habu.
Ofcourse its over the top and although I love my EDF planes nothing beats the sound and power of a real turbine and ofcourse the P-20SE is so cute. I'm really convinced that it it will be lighter to. Engine and accesoires including fuel for 6 minutes will be around 1 kilo. The recommended 6S5000 lipo will be already 900 grams weight for the edf version. |

The Habu32 has been very much "seen"
. it flew constantly at E-Jets. Flat passes averaged 128 and we saw 162 out of a fairly big dive.got a chance to handle it in the pits...it looks great, right down to the aluminum rimmed wheels which i was told would come with the kit. |
