Fastest HABU 32 can never match the speed of fastest Strykers.
A bunch more thrust than listed above will not do it.
6000W will not do it.

Well I am not a novice flyer and the Habu 32 still needs some runway for my landings.....even if I burn off speed. I would not be in a comfort zone with a 100' landing runway.....besides---- I was speaking about those who may not be as an expert in edf would maybe need a little more runway on average. That aside I would not worry too much as the plane does land well.

Now..... I need to switch out the damaged front E-Flight 25-46 LG on the HAbu for the replacement LG which Horizon Hobbies sent to me....then to the field. Maybe I need to run over and watch the Blue Angels(the Blues are stationed here) practice and I can learn "short" carrier landings.

Yeap, I agree. I love Strykers but HABU 32 is a much higher end plane.

I was only making a correction regarding which plane has been flown faster.

Absolutely it is like comparing Apples and Oranges. I didn't just post what I did without a reason. I only wanted to keep the facts straight.

A HABU 32 has a "very long" way to go to catch up to "level flight" speeds attained by Park Zone F27C Stryker.
Furthermore: The F27C speed record is about to get raised another 20 MPH.

No thread hijacking on my end. PMs are welcome if there are questions/concerns.

See last page's post 7311.

And you could have PMed your question/comment instead of more posts.

Ok, let's keep these posts going.

Stryker? Really? I have the fastest Funjet I know of and its far slippery-er than the Stryker and it can't do 175 High 168+ but not 175. It is as loud as three Habus and maybe thats why you think its so fast? Post a video or give us a link so we can doppler it and see this amazing Habu killing Stryker

Rvincent,

I have no problem showing video proof of my friend's Stryker.

What I don't want is to keep this going and drag down this thread. Not fair to others.

So you feel you have knowledge of such specific topic.
No problem, I can respect someone asking for proof.
Knowing what I know about you, I think there will be comments other than simple thanks, and yes that was faster. I guess we will soon see.

Same amount of power or little less will make Funjet faster.
But while Funjet guys pushed the envelope only do far, the Stryker folks ventured further.
And why on earth would a bigger plane like HABU 32 ever fly faster than a smaller Stryker.
Most HABU 32 owners need/want to be spoon fed with someone else doing the research and testing for them. I have mad respect for few of owners who do their own testing and not afraid to venture into new territory.

After video, least comment and lip service will be appreciated from everyone.

Facts are simple and straight forward. When a faster Funjet or HABU 32 is produced that would be a good time for further comments.

***Before proof is posted: Any other doubters? Raise your hand.

Next Stryker may be powered at 7.5KW-8KW range static before 1000+W unloading. The one on video unloaded to 5000W if I remember right.
