Doppler run audio clips are usually 7-8 seconds.
The pass should be about 10 seconds of flat and level flight (at a fairly low altitude for good sound acqiusition. No Diving, and don't pull up or turn too soon after the pass. |

if the camera is close to the aircraft as it passes, the pass can be shorter.
if it's farther out, the pass needs to be longer. The main thing is to hear a steady freq on incoming, and outgoing. most people get a "feel" for this as they doppler more. |

yeah, the incoming and outgoing angles aren't that different at 50 feet out, wouldn't effect the speed much

But serious, my doppler passes last maybe 5-6 seconds. BTW, nice to see you around Pete! Missed ya on the boards. Got too bored playing guitar? j/k

Fyi for anyone needing to do some touch up on the habu, model masters enamel "black metallic" is really really close to the pearl black horizon uses. It is a tiny tiny bit on the grey side but from 2-3 feet away you can not tell the difference!

Late to the party...again
Time to join the Habu 32 bandwagon - finally pulled the trigger on this model with stock setup (for now). I guess this means the end for the half completed foam Habu...!!
I'm glad I only have 398 pages of thread to look through for hints, tips and gotchas - 400 would be a real PITA...
