Successful maiden.
I made mine 100% stock, with retracts. Tonight I made the maiden flight on our grass runway. It was a long run with 1/2 flaps but it all worked great. I was most surprised by how slowly it would fly with full flaps. Second flight was even better. The sky was dark, the humidity high and generally poor conditions but it was loads of fun. Waiting for the batteries to charge to see how much longer I can fly the Habu on a charge. Neat. It was worth the wait. Jim |

Now ready to go fly.
I just ran up with 8s 2.6k at 84A. Sound pretty nice and smooth like my TJ rotor. Dynamic balance make this E-Flite rotor come to live. But you know what. I'm not go to fly with 8s..... My plane was set up for 9s. Why not go for more power. ![]() Let me camera and set it still to get some high speed pass. |

hey guys I though I would share, last week a fellow club member showed up to the field with a brand new Habu 32 bone stock on 6s and I gotta tell you I was very impressed with this jet. he asked me to maiden it for him and of course I said ok, this flight is on a turnigy 6s 5000 25c, since this was the maiden I kept the flight short about 2.5 min timer at the end of the flight batt was showing 60% remaining, this thing was fast and efficient. this is a very cool jet. I think he has a tiger in his also, I'll let him know about tams balanced rotors.
here is the video
