Add some "earthquake hold" putty, to the "light" side. (outside the hub) Keep adding putty until the rotor stays wherever you position it radially. Then move the putty to the inside and lightly cover it with 5 min epoxy. |

I've never looked at what I put back into them, but generlly make 2, (4-5 min) flights, before recharging. |

Hey,
Nice little trick. So what keeps the door open and away from the strut in the down position? Brian Quote:

It just worked out that it works very smoothly (every time) On other jets I've had to add a "glide bump" to the inside of the door to prevent hang ups....but not this one. Using Tams's struts may need the "glide". I'll put them on the next Habu. |

mine were that way too the stab more so than the main wing.
I just used some rtv silicone in between the wings and stab and fuse then bolted them on let it dry. They are rock solid now Also I just maiden mine tonight and WOW am i impressed she flys great.very fast for a stock setup also. However I did not extend the canopy bolt as suggested and it flew of just 60sec into the flight ![]() so here is my fix and a pic of my habu after i removed the stickers and tinted the canopy ![]()

Just let you guys know.
I ran up the E-Flite fan for the customer. It was horrible sound and vibration. So put the E-Flite rotor on my dynamic balance machine to find out how far off it is out of balance. Wow....is was so out of balance and hope you guys take time to balancing it well if want to run high power. I try to balance one and let see what the different it would make. |
