I can't wait to see video of Tam's hot rod! If it will do 150 on the stock fan, Tam's might be near 160 and lighter to boot!

The wheels are kinda small for grass I think. Might be fine? I haven't tried it. But gut instinct says it would be tough unless its at SEFF where the grass I'd better than most paved runways

Knowing doing a lot things is not too good things after all.
Friend just call and need my help repair his 32 fts cruiser. Couple months back it so windy at the delta and his cruise slam agaisnt the rock and crack the hull.
Cost him a fortune if bring to Marine shop.
It free when knowing someone knowing how to fiberglass works.

Why don't you do a search on grass in this thread? It is real easy.

Hi Tam,

Would you have a picture of the nose gear door setup? I have one on the bench.

For the Mig-15? Yes I do. But my works computer crash. Hope my brother in law can save all the data and transfer to my new computer.

Look like I had enough time to finish the fan and install back in for maiden flight.
The Mig-15 had to be on hold.

Just ran another test TJ80SE with 1515 2.5D 1650kv motor.
3.1kw at 85A on 10s. The number are good. But not what I want yet for
AUW 8.2 lbs.
The KV of this motor are little too low to get 3.5kw.
Now looking for 1720-1750kv in 1412 serie motor to put me at the 3.5kw power at 90-92A and stay under 8 lbs is my goal target.
Monday call Steve Neu for him do his magic.

Well,
Just download the Castle data it showing 53k RPM at 3.2kw.

Hi,

Fitting the stabilizers is giving me grief

The bolts tighten the carbon sticks in no issue with no binding. The stab's dont fit, I cant get both the anti rotation pins in on either side. Did you guys sand the carbon stick that goes into the stab considerably or didnt have this issue?

James, any tips please? Or are your 14+ stabs all fitting together easily?

Alex

Is this before you glued them? It is hard when you bolt them up first to trial fit, but when you glue them in they are in the the stab first and it's easier.
