BOAT CHASE VIDEO, SuperV boat cam.

Trying out a key chain cam. Chasing my Fastech with my SuperVeeR. Scorpion1 is driving the Fastech. As usual he is ziping away from me. But wanted another boat to add some interest than just banging on the water. Was great fun, late afternoon bright sun. Will post some pics tonight of my custom water proof key cam mount Key cam.... $7 off Ebay.

Nice! Maybe we can mount the camera to the side next time and run side by side!

Shame you had to ruin the video with the music.

Actually he may have done us a fovor by stripping the original soundrtrack. Those keychain cams pick up loads of noise from wind and the motor.

I'm waiting to see that waterproof mount. I have one of those little cams myself and have been toying with the idea of strapping it to the top of my Genesis. That one might be a little harder for scorp to run away from.

music

RUIN ! RUIN ! WITH MUSIC !!!! (actually the music choice was my IT guys who edited it for me.... I wanted some acid rock... but the only sound you would hear is the motor wine off and on. Audio is kinda limited on these. Let's see your video freechip.

Some pictures of my waterproof container. Just a nice size pill bottle with a locking waterproof lid and some foam. I dremeled a hole in the bottom, siliconed a piece of glass to it. Cut some foam to keep it stable and tape on the hull . Pretty quick and easy. Test you pill bottle first for watertightness.

You could also attach a piece of string... so you do not go swimming after a flip

Thats the only one I have and its with my late RR2. I replaced it with Rio Ep but do not have video and probably never will cause I almost drowned this year doing something STUPID, never go rc boating alone and never go in the water to retrieve it. So if you want to comment on my music choice go ahead, it was my brothers choice so I will pass on the comment about it.
PS: IF you check the date of the video you will notice that the music was selected before she was so popular with some.

Battery..

I don't think so. It charges when you hook it up. It's a lithium and will probably out last the camera. There is a site with tons of info on these. Will see if I can find it. But they do work really well for the cost but they are pretty much disposible (except for the memory card which most do not come with). This was my first try with one.

Very nice video freechip, good job... looks like 3 cell is just too much. Great driving around the rocks though... would not care for that site though. And yes better music than mine. I will do something different this weekend. I have three of those hulls around here someplace. Family got them a few years ago. Liked the always coming upright.

This is the one I bought. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

the key chain cam i got from E-bay came with a 4gb memory card (when i lost my 1st cam it drowned, if i found it i would've had a monster video to share)

they have 1s, 300mah (or something like that) lipo (wires soldered to the board)and as said above, charge when connected to your PC/laptop
