I know the feeling and that is why I went with the 900kv at first. I was lucky and found a good deal on a used motor. $40 for the motor and 1 Hitec85mg.

You gotta be real careful not to get any glue into the mechanism. I usually put some grease or Vasloine on the pin and the sliding plastic piece with a Q tip.

On the last one I did, I got a little glue in there somehow. I had to shoot debonder into the mechanism with a hypo and work it until it was free, then oil it and keep working.

Anyone have a left wing, fuselage or canopy they want to sell? I have the blue and white scheme.

Wow. Sounds like a nasty accident. Sorry to see that.

It is highly unlikely you will find a used fueslage. On almost all of these arfs the fuselage is the most often damaged part. Wings generally seem to survive. Canopies, cowls ands fduselages seem to take the most damage. That and landing gear legs.

I believe a replacement fuselage is like $75 or so, a canopy is $20 and a wing is about $30. I also just checked and they are currently out of the blue wings.

Hate to say it, but moneywise you would be better off getting an entire new airframe. The up side is that if you get the same airframe you can save the pieces from the current one as spares.

After looking at the wing I can fix it! The fuse is trashed all along the wing walls So for $114 I can fix it. Still a lot cheaper than a new one and the plane is out of stock right now anyway. If anyone has a fuse they want to sell please let me know.

I might have this wrong, but I believe you can buy wings seperately. It's just not listed on the site that way. Call Curtis to be sure.

The more I fly this thing the more I love it. I was hammering it hard the other day practicing pop tops, blenders and rolling harriers. Just plain fun!!!

You could be right too... The site shows left and rights on the 60" Extra and Edge. Don't have any atall for the 64 MXS. I have heard they do things over the phone that aren't listed so calling is a good idea...

I called Curtis earlier today and unfortunately you can only buy these wings as a set I got it all back together pretty good. I will still have to replace the parts to make it look nice again but at least I can try and fly it. At least now I can fly it like I stole it!

Quick question.. Think the answer is yes. Flying stock setup will this work for battery setup? Is the C rating too high?
