Nice Bird Marvin!

Do you want to do the small or large F-4?

Small:

Large:

http://www.skymasterjet.com/f4.htm

I'd guess the smaller one. You know what would be sweet, is butter up Barry to make some killer ducts for you and run a single DS-94 HST on 14s 6500 mah.

I'll be testing this fan soon and from all my talks with Daniel I feel it's going to be ultra sweet. 18.5 pounds installed thrust around 7000 watts..

Nice thing about one fan is it will be a simple setup... one ESC and set of packs....

But with the said talk to Barry there are going to be loses with the spilt exhaust and maybe two smaller fans would be a better route...

any of the twin 100, 110's will fly it fine....

Stu's new fan , Tams stuff , Twin EVF

you know what now that I think about it the BVM F-4 is almost the same size of the smaller F-4 like within an inch. There's flys very well on twin EVF with 10s each, I wonder how close BVM ducting would be? humm very interesting... might work with some mods...
you could also fit the SM110-52 into the BVM ducting with a small adaptor.

just tossing some idea out there.. many ways to fly it well

I still think I'd really look into the DS-94 HST if you could get great ducting made the single setup would be lighter and simple

that's my 2 cents

I was looking at the smaller one for two SM100-45's, I think there should be enough room to do nice straight ducting.

I'm Thinking There Will Be Plenty Room For 2 Fans With Nice Straight Ducting Without Any Issues Also

looks like someone went shopping on RCU
is this the one being sold in your area on RCU?

from the looks of it that rear bulkhead with the rear spare would need some serious mods for a twin fan...
if it were mine I'd look at one big single, get in touch with one of our friendly ducting wizards, Barry or AirSalley and get a sweet single ducting setup

for fans you could try a TF-8000, DS-94 HST, high power Dynamax

looks like a twin will be pain to do...

Think of the big yellow F-15 xps is flying on a single at only 4500 watts with 12s...
you could go 14s 6500mah and push 7000 watts

Needs some re-engineering to fit 2 fans in there, but it would definitely be the way to go. Two SM100-45's or TJ-100HP's would be the best option IMO. thankfully the wing is low enough that you can cut away the bulkhead to clear the new ducting and leave enough there for the wing attachment spars.

Is it possible for you to weigh the individual parts and tell us? This would be my dream EDF model.
