For that cost and the shipping to the door would be close if not the same to a PNP HABU.....199....or less from Onehobbies...

Will parts be sold or will a new plane need to be ordered everytime a part is needed?

Seems like Dynam made a deal with the devil (ok, HK is not exactly the Devil) but if they don't carry it in the US warehouse, the US market is screwed for the Meteor. I guess they wanted more international exposure?

I was lucky to get my Rx ready one when it was just about $150 shipped. Flies great.

I am guessing that HK told Dynam that we will buy a huge number of planes, but you aren't allowed to sell them to anyone else.

Dynam then says, hmmmmm, we do not have to ship them to the USA, or deal with customer service since HK does not really offer that feature, great deal for us! We can fire and forget 1000 kits and wash our hands of them.

i don't see how the habu is better than the meteor. For me the meteor is better. Has better cooling. Has the esc in the back so you can balance it with larger pack

It's very easy to get air thru thr batt area...sharpen a brass tube and make some passageways....and no elevator issues either....being creative is part of a Hobby....and shoot its only foam.....easy to work with..... Plus its readily avalible..... I have a meteor and love it.....just this is what it comes to when they take it from under our noses....gotta make due....

The RX ready Meteor was SO darn fast to build up. I hate buying parts and assembling it anymore. If I were to go through that trouble, I would have spent another $30-$50 on a more powerful setup. I often go stock Rx ready just to get it in the air and start enjoying it.

Thanks for that. Just curious.

But I'm, very, very happy with my Meteor / WeMoTec / Het combo at the moment.

Doppler at around 95mph this morning.

Hard to believe my old Gaui Tiger Shark with it 3S 240w / 22amp setup is faster .

Cheers
