Another nice day in Southern California flying with friends...

The wind was sorta all over the place, we had gusts into the 50's at one point but for the most part it seemed to be in the 30-40 mph range.

Good fun though with a couple of close calls but no carnage.

Great speed- its about time a little wind up here ,I think people were almost ready to move down -under. Cannot blame them what a beautiful place and wind a+.

Its nice to see the Big Dogs are back and still breaking records. I was starting to think the wind in California was a myth.

And a big hello to Chris "Daboz" - I hope the fact you're flying doesn't mean the surf is out.

You'll be happy to know my shredded Windburner is back up and flying again (Lazarus with a triple bypass

).

Also a comment re RCSpeeds: I noticed the K2M isn't listed in the 80inch category, presumably an oversight.

Peter France did 140mph with his burner, Rob got 106 with his JW60 and I was in the 130s with my Reaper. Wind picked up while we were there, but sun was in the way so didn't fly the Kinetic again. The yellow was SOOOO Hard to see!!!!

Great video you guys! I had a good laugh and it was great to hear Dave's voice doing the commentary and see you getting some action. Shame about the Mauler! But it's all worth it for an airframe and hill record. I loved the "Senior moment" comment ... know how that feels ...
