Hi, hope I can post this here. Was flying at the back of Sherwood on Saturday afternoon, 8 September 2012. Nine Eagles, Sky Runner. Plane got out of range and headed for the N2 towards someones roof or the open field. If anyone happens to find any parts of it, please let me know.
Thank you,
Jaco

Hi if you can give us an idea of where it went down q
we can assist. If it went down towards the top end looking towards the N2 there is a nature trail you can use to access the area.

Thank you for the replies. The nine eagles radio does not offer much conifigurations other than trim. So, I trust that out of range would kill the motor. The trim on the elevator was not set properly, so it kept climbing even though I tried to let it dive. I've attached a map of what I think the direction was, although I lost sight of it when I fetched my car to try and chase it. It was my 3rd time at the park and my 1st plane, so if it's gone I'll write it off as school fees. I have bought a dx6 and a trojan park flyer in the meantime but am still waiting for 2200mA lipos. The FPV sounds great, but I'm sure that will also end up in someone's back yard till I learn to fly. If anyone can let me know if the MIG building workshops are still running I'll appreciate it. I'd like to give it a go.
