A few pics from this afternoon.
I made a quick flight this afternoon, and got some pictures. There was rain coming, and it was cloudy, so the light is kinda low, but a few came out ok.
Here is the rain, off in the distance:

Looking good, rich colors. Now I know what a bayou is. All the land features follow the bend of it.
What happened to the wing strut in the last pic?

Karl, I believe all that reflected light bending around the strut makes it 'disappear' into the background.
If you look really close at the left edge of the image, just above the large stand of trees you can see an orangish shadow of the strut.
I think it would make for a cool shot if you could fly closer to the stand of trees (say 20 feet above the treetops) and line-up the camera looking downstream.
Still these photos look quite descent considering the lighting conditions, have you done anything at all to your camera or is it stock?

Yeah, the strut (nylon string) dissapears in some of my pics. The camera is an Aiptek, using the CamMan switch, installed by me, and the focus is tweaked a little, I think I may tweak it a bit more if I ever get some good weather and good lighting, at the same time. LOL
I'll try to get some photos like you said, lower, and lined up with the bayou, the next time I'm out flying.
Thanks for the comments,
By the way, that was a PICO Stick FD, with a DX-A that hauled the cam up that high!
