Static noise from the microphone + video noise when motor is working

Here is my setup :
900 Mhz 1500mw RX\TX system from hobby king setup on a maxi swift with a Black stork II osd.

After setting up and hooking up all the system I have 2 problems:

1. Microphone is working and transferring sound but it also transfers a constant static sound.

2. The picture I am getting from the camera is very good, the moment I start the motor I see "Noise" on the output of the video , a lot of diagonal lines ??

I tried taking the video TX as far as 50 cm from the rest of the electronic part - didn't help

Any solution will be much appreciated.

About your video noise from your motor :
How your video tx is wired ?
You should take the power from the balance plug, or use ferrit rings (search for more info) or use a separate battery for the vtx

Forgot to mention that the video problem was fixed as soon as I used a separate battery for the vtx.

Only problem now is the Static noise from the Microphone...

OK without the mic? Turn gain down on mic if u can.

If you can - move you ESC to the back - its VERY noisy - also the cables from your motor to ESC look CRAZY long! The shorter the better - less noise and stuff

1500mw is crazy too, more problems than anything else, 500mw can get you 5km... how far do u wanna try fly away?

Tried to change the gain to minimum and maximum - didn't change anything.

ESC lines to motor are long , it's an extension cable just made for checking best distance from other parts, I'll try to check the system with out the extension cable.

about the 500mw I will go as far as 3-5 km no more.

Dunno, just thinkin 1.5watts is maybe too much? maybe not, ive never tried...
Have you got another setup you can try the mic with? or another mic to try on that setup, would be good to start canceling out things.
Id try move the ESC a few inches from the motor mount and solder them wires nice and short, then wrap the ESC's RX plug lead around a ferrite ring a few times.

'Static noise from the microphone' - are you sure it's not wind noise (from flight or the propellor)?
If so, try some foam over the mic!

All tests done in house not in flight.
Esc has a ferite ring allready.
I'll try to check with another mic today.
Also got some new ferite rings so I'll try to put one on the mic leads.

okay seems that the TX is the problem
While cheking with another microphone I saw that even if the Microphone is disconected what comes out of the reciever is with Static noise ???

that means that the TX is transimiting that noise on the audio line.

Does any body else has a 1.5W TX from hobbyking that works good with a microphone ?

Hope you get it sorted tho... id just get a 200mw from there, its gonna be heaps hey, ive gone over 1km on the same freq & power and still clear as.

Did you solve the issue with the noise?

I have the same hobbyking system (1500mW) and my main problem is tx is affecting the servos.

try taking the video's Tx antenna as far away as you can from the servos.

I did it with an extension cable from the video Tx to the actual antenna and took it about 40 cm farther on the plane.

You can see changes immediately just by rotating the antenna 90 degrees

Still have noise but no servo jitter..
