There is no new fuse.
As far as I know the Speed Fire have 2 wing types : With integrated servos/linkage ( no covers and nothing visible) and empty wing for servos by desire.

Show version I don't know maybe you can ask Petr to produce you one stronger wing , but the one I have is also very strong and weight only 404gr with everything installed.

Thomas,

The wing in those images is not bending that much. The speedfire has a good deal of dihedral by design. Petr said he likes the way it flies, the added stability makes it easier to fly the model both in speed and thermalmode.

GM, thanks for posting weight of the wing, seems quite light to me for a good, stiff wing!

Regards,
Gerben

Right, here you can see similar bending on an Avionik wing with much less dihedral... (From F5B UK, hope they don't mind....)

Flying Peter's Backfire, which has similar ,but bigger wing .I discovered that dihedral, which I was in shock at first ,did not hurt performance at all.

Dihedral can only give better performance , it can't make it worse.

Yeah right..... like training wheels on the side of a bicycle make it only safer, not slower.

Ok just quickly then.

Extreme case, put in 90 degrees of dyhedral and now you get no lift at all. Sure 1 or 2 degrees is not going to change much, but add a lot of flex in the turn and it does start to add up after many many turns. Better to have strait wing with no flex.

But much more importantly, the handling. A wing with to much dyhedral will want to roll wings level all the time, so you end up having to correct this when you are trying to get ready for a turn. Worse still, i find it hard to judge how the plane will come out of the turn.

Georgi, i know you like the Speedfire and rightly so. And frankly i agree it should be given a chance. It should not be dismissed just because some guy's at a eurotour said it made a lot of noise and it bends a lot. Those things are subjective as is the handling part that i talked about, different people prefer different things.

some guys, some guys, some guys

Do you have a Speedfire ? NO
Did you seen sometimes fly Speedire ? NO

Joe, you are really only speculator, you can only write your stupid coments without any verification... We can read only some guys say, some guys look and and... Same like your coments for RW4.

Primary, anythig to write, this is your slogan.

Come on Petr, please read his post again... You obviously misunderstood what he wrote!

He clearly argues that some guys comments in a single eurotour event is not a clear picture of the plane's capabilities.

Why does every thread in the forumn turn into a mud slinging competition?

It's getting more than a bit tiring....
