Anyone tried the BlitzRCWorks MX2 Pro 3D?
Found it on BananaHobby.com: http://www.bananahobby.com/1970.html
I'm considering graduating from my Cessna-type high wing foamies, and I wonder if this model might be worth a try.
Anyone tried it? How is the build quality, performance, ruggedness, ease of flying etc? Thanks in advance.

The one I received, the ESC did not work. After the first flight the elevator hinge broke and the aileron hinges where so loose that I could move them up and down 1/4" at the leading edge. I replaced the rudder and elevator hinges with Robart 1/8 hinge points and the ailerons with 3/16 robarts. On the ailerons you have to insert a block of wood into where the old hinge points where to stiffen this area up. Also if you plan on some high speed maneuvers you must stiffen the wing up with a carbon fiber rod or the wings will flex.
I replaced the ESC with a 30A Volcano Series from Hobby Partz and static amps is 35 amps at full throttle with a 13 x 4 APC prop. So far the motor is holding up and using the APC prop performs much better than the stock prop.
After all these mods the plane response is better but its not an real good 3D plane.
