Ya Know Ya Might Be Addicted If....

Please feel free to add to the list!!!

Don't you know that flying these planes leads to serious addictions:

The need for better and bigger planes.
The addiction to the smell of balsa.
The addiction to the smell of Nitro in the morning.
The constant need to check the Weather Channel from your Smart phone to see the wind projections.
The need to get a Smart phone so you can check the wind projections.
The overwhelming desire to start buying generic cat food so you can save up for the next offering from ParkZone and eFlyte.
Spending too much time on the internet scouring message boards to see what the next guy is doing.
Long detailed emails to Callie to get the details of your custom decal sheets just right.
The desire to plan vacation stops around the LHS in that area.
Going into the LHS while you are on vacation "just to see if he has anything new".
Paying extra to get the "something new" you found at that LHS on the plane.
Memorizing the operating hours of every LHS within a 2 hour drive of your house.
Rearranging the speed dial on your phone in the order of the distance from your house to the nearest LHS within that 2 hour drive time window.
Adding the addresses to every LHS within that 2 hour drive window into your GPS in a favorites folder called LHS.
Trading the cat, who now is totally ticked off at you for switching it to generic cat food, to a guy in the flying club's daughter, to get that sweet little Ugly Stick.
Having to explain all of this to your new Therapist.
Having to explain all of this to your Significant Other's Therapist.
Having to explain to your little offspring why Mr. Fuffy has be sent on TDY.
Having to explain to your Significant Other who Callie is and why your now have 27 emails to her.

I didn't measure for wall space but the closest flying field was a MAJOR factor.

We have 40 acres at our rec center less than a mile from my house. I started flying solo and ran into several other flyers. Short story long; we now have seven regular flyers and we are getting ready to charter a new electrics only AMA club with the developers blessings.

when the total watts of your airplanes excedes the watts of all the cars that you have (if they where running). Wikipedia has a HP listed at 735 watts.

when the total dollar amount of you collection of rc outdoes your collection of cars, including the "collector car" on blocks in the side yard.

when the sound of a moki radial has you more excited than ...(sorry this is a family orientated site)

When you call in sick to go flying, or better yet you work 1 minute 5 seconds walking distance from the closest rc strip.

When you have access and or memberships at five or more fields.

You have an airvehicle set up for flying in verious types of weather.(one that can handle snow, one for rain, one high wind. and various landing gears)

When the collection includes wings, slow sticks, foamies, balsa buildups. Planes for speed, planes for looks, planes that are ugly but fly awesone, 3D, WW2 fighters, prop, slope, edf and my favorite the flying lawnmower.

when your flyday has the airplanes and its following of 4-5 tool boxes and multiple charging stations.

Its really bad when you can justify buying a boat to fly at the lake.... and your wife tells you to add onto the garage because there are too many of those things (planes...) out there

Speaking of the wify... you are an addict when you have more planes than your woman has shoes!
