I love free plans. I hope you do too.
Ive built my website http://JUDD-RC.id.au to help share those plans.
My plane plans are made simple so that you can build it and fly it in a matter of hours. I normally use quill foamboard as I got on clearance from Officeworks for $2.40/box of 5 sheets 700mmX500mm. It retails at $10/sheet on the shelf so I really got a bargain.
The construction is simple and repairs even simpler. The material does however come in heavier than depron but its cheaper and more durable and can be sprayed by aerosol paint(the cheaper the better)
My list of completed plans
are
F22 100%
EF2000 100%
SR-71 100%
F15 90%
F18 100%
Space Shuttle 90%
Trainer 100%
Warhawk 100%
and more plans are in the works like the SU47 the X29 B2 etc etc.
I welcome your thoughts and input into my builds but most of all I hope you enjoy them and treat them in the same manner as I do and thats for maximum fun.
In other words you arent going to cry over 50cents of foam if you crash it into a pole or a tree if you are trying some stunt flying..

Anyway
Have Fun

Clint

I too publish free plans (see my blog). Why not publish them in .PDF
format or .DXF Usually I alter plans to my own needs. Then it's
easier to contribute and make a joint effort too

Hey Floey sorry about the late reply and thanks for the input.
I havent been able to adjust the scale of pdf plans in the past by more than 3~4%
I understand that a PDF will make it easier for the end user to just print out at your set scale but I prefer to be able to make them as big or as small as I want or as the end user wants to. This allows a lot of freedoms.
My other link is here if you havent visited.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1303000

I have my website up and all of my plans are on there. My plans are 100% free no catch no gimmicks. I have and adsense account and so if people who visit my site like the adds then they can visit them and so and so forth.
My adsense hasnt made me rich. Im upto $5 after 4 months of my website being up.
Ive made a few good friends on my thread and I hope to make more. I really enjoy seeing people build my models and passing on their thoughts about them. One of my friends Mike has already built a few models of his own as a result of building some of my models so it really is contagious.
I hope that you and many others can enjoy these models as it brings me just as much joy to hear back about their stories.

Hi Tim, unfortunately I closed down my website quite some time ago.
Short explanation, free plans and no adds to support the cost of my website made me shut it down after 3 years of out of pocket expenses.
I had a google adsense account to generate adds on my site to pay the bills so to speak but I had my adsense account shut down.

sorry mate.
