LOOKS KILLER SCOTT! It will fly awesome but you need the canards. If you plan to build it with 20" WS the canards needs to be angled up 2 degree or built it with functioning canards. it will be easy to build. I will build it after my Kronik2010 project. NICE JOB!

mayday.

Happy flying,
mayday.
Thats an interesting looking bird. I was looking at some of your Utubes and have now got to do a Misfit too (I found the thread). You are about 6 months ahead me on all the builds I want to do - I gotta get moving.

My friend (with a plotter at work) dropped over with FJ 20" w/s plans (I should be building 25") but we went ahead and cut out a couple of planes anyways. I'm half way built now even though I know I will have to build a bigger one. This has jumped ahead of my FPV Skylark project too

now for the brave ..

teh cuttingas begun , and my servos shoudl be arriving any week now .
got some smal 4-5g servos.

i will need one of the orange spectrum RX's , strip it's box off.
LOL
and get a small brushles that can move a 150 - 200g plane . LOL
i have a few power setups in mind now.

WS is same as PZ's UM P-51D . so coudl even use a AR6400 if they wernt = to total cost of knock off RX and all gear .. LOL & o will prolly want to go light 2s any how.

that said i coudl get a sukhoi XP .. heheheh hmmm... evil thought towards a suk' .

Get building BOARDMAN I have another bird I drew up on a Mcdonald's Napkin while waiting for my kids school bus. The misfit flies awesome indoor or out! As far as your FJ 25" WS I know it will fly alot better/stable and the glide character will be nice and slow. POST PICS PLEASE

Happy building,
mayday.

Prime_8, there are heaps of people around with banged up sukhoi's and other similar planes that I'm sure would gladly sell you the electrics. Might be worth putting a wanted ad up.

actualy i woudl rather get a mocro rx and such . i tend to like my UM's can never harvest untill they fuse is dead - ish .

but it would be cool if it was worth shipping and all.
i just wish HK had a ar6400+ LBL knock off allready LOL

thought i woudl post link back to first post in build log wher forward sweep pops up in my original mini FJ thread .
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=79

but here is progress shot..
(verst are just tacke don for visual reff. )

you will see fusse doubler(only 5mm deep x 3mm wide stringer like foam ) near cornes where i can sand deeper , and verts are taller and a heavier motor mount in aft .

oh and it glide well just like this with 5 pennies in nose.
