Got to run mine with the other Geico today. Both ran pretty good. scorpion1 is downloading some video. I did have to keep moving batteries (Nimh for the first runs, then lipos) forward to stop the bouncing. I don't know where they get the 9 inch C/G position. Its way too bouncy at that setting. Mine are even forward of the rear of the ply battery tray. Love how it handles in turns though.... like on rails and full throttle. Just running stock prop so should do much better when I get the X642.

If you're finding it's still bouncing too much even with the CG way forward, you might have to adjust the thrust line a bit to keep the nose down ever so slightly.

You can also fine tune it more if you lower the prop if the rear is too wet, raise it if the rear is too loose.

Thanks guys for the comments. Yes Boomer1 I have reviewed his comments a bunch and watched the video. It just must be HIS power (5S) and prop differences that allows him to run the C/G that far back without much bouncing. My strut is flush with top like he says, my strut angle is 0. I started with two six cell 5000 nimh packs then tried 4s 5000 lipos , all still with stock prop. Will get a prop coming and will play with the strut angle first (you have a minute amount it will adjust) then play with the height some, that's about all the adjustment you have short of battery shifting. I can sharpen, balance and polish the new prop but not very sure about his thinning and cupped version.??????
Boomer1 have you run yours some more ? What are you running ?, batteries, prop and how did it do in relation to the bouncing?

When running 5s are you basically running a 3 cell and 2 cell pack (same mah) and which side do you put the 3 cell (heavier)pack on usually ??

Dang, that thing screams on 5s with the x642 prop....how long do you guys think the motor will last?

When using 2s and 3s batteries in a serial setup (5s) do you need to match Mah size?
