It is the standard mod of swapping the wires inside to make them swing the same way as the stock. Or you can choose to turn the RX 180 degrees and also do some reverval on the TX.

I hot glued them onto the stock brackets. The rear two brackets are lifted up a bit with o-rings as the metal servos are a little bit thicker than the stock. The rear brackets are also turned backwards to allow more room between the front and rear servos as the metal servos are a bit longer than that stock. Now the rear servos are resting against the frame instead of hanging inside the openings

With hot glue, it is easier than I thought to get them fixed in the right place.

I got those cheap with free shipping, but price had gone up since. Shipping now costs more than the servo, so it is close to $6 per piece instead of less than $2.25. I had bought 12 at the good price though.
Thanks for the reply, it seems there is a lot modifications required. I think I go with exi's servo for the moment;-)

i agree regarding the EXI servos. I have 4 of the V400's and i replaced all 12 servos with the EXI's. the mod is very easy- just have to align the brackets with the holes and voila. after that just make sure the servo arms and swash were level to the ground at zero degrees and thats it. the first 2 helis took me about 30 minutes each to replace and the other 2 literally took me 20 minutes each. no biggie. just make sure to hit all the threads with locktight.

Hi, got my replacement motor for my V400D. I tried to set pitch and travel to where the motor only gets warm. Hoping it will make it last longer.
Heres a vid I made at the small park by my house.

I cooked the stock motor on my old V400D02 by using the Master CP RX and a 2200mAH Lipo trying to get enough lift to take off.

Then I put a HB2626 on it converting the main motor to brushless using the same pinion. Now the main is working fine, but it appears my stock tail motor is unable to catch up.

Any idea what is a good tail motor to use for brushless?
