Mighty Servant 3

This is the ship that brought the USS Cole back from Aden after she had been holed by a terrorists bomb. Google it and you will see photos. I have made a male plug and am going to make a fiberglass mold. If anyone would like a pull from the mold to build Mighty Servant 3 then let me know. The mold will be 60" x 14" and will be flat bottomed as seen in the photos. I will chronicle my build as I progress, this will take some time as I am a slow worker. I have Umi Ryuzuki to thank for the limited plans she had.

Nice job and good luck with her. A member of the South Orange Seaport built her. He ran her several times andwas at the point of installing the pumps when his first child was born. We now see him once a year.
looking forward to your build.

Nice project.

Actually it was the Blue Marlin that carried the USS Cole back to the US, not the Mighty Servant 3.

Greetings Josse

The Super Servant 3 was used to transport US minesweepers to the gulf during
Operation Desert Shield in 1990.

Looking forward to the rest of the build.

the Scale of the Super Servant at 60 inches is about 1:90, or close enough to 1/96 scale

Cute little wooden crane you have there in the background. A secret project in the works?

This would make for a neat prodject running with other vessels in 1/96 carring another vessel(s) of same scale to play with at the same time. Just ballast down and wollah--another ship to handle with easy launching services.
