Spektrum AR7000 satelite receiver blinking

I am concerned that my AR7000 may not be functioning correctly.
Sometimes the satelite receiver goes from solid led light to blinking on the ground before takeoff. Sometimes I notice it blinking after a flight.
I have recently had a crash using the same receiver but could not determine whether this was due to radio problems or my running the motor Lipos too low and loosing power altogether. I use seperate UBEC for radio.
Can anyone please shed some light?

I have hear and read post about the cable used for the sat coming lose and causing the lost of power indactor on the sat only.

Make sure you have a good connection, a little contact cleaner would not hurt also.

It's probably what Freechip says. Use contact cleaner or just remove and reinsert the cable (both ends) several times to clean the contacts.

Note that running the batteries down will not cause the radio to fail as long as you have and ESC with functioning low voltage cutoff. There will still be lots of power to run the radio even after the motor has shutdown.

I've had similar experiences with AR6200 and AR7000 several times.

Hey thanks a lot guys.
I unplugged then plugged the satelite receiver back and the problem diappeared. Guess that it must have been some oxidation on contacts. As easy as that!
Ciao
